From TV star to yacht entrepreneur: My journey with HALLER Experiences on Ibiza
I would never have thought that one day I would be sitting here in Ibiza writing about my own company - in the world of luxury yachts! Many of you may know me from my time on The Bachelorette , where I was dumped quite harshly in the finale. Back then, I would never have dreamed that this show would be the beginning of a completely new phase in my life.
How it all began: A spontaneous idea becomes a dream job
When the media hype started after the show, I quickly realized that completely new opportunities were opening up. And so I started my social media life with full commitment. I shared my journey on Instagram - ups and downs, dreams and challenges. Step by step, a car mechanic trainee became someone who suddenly thought about "luxury yachts" and "entrepreneurship" . Sounds weird, right?
Start a business? Why not!
When the Corona pandemic came, the world stood still. It would have been a good moment to play it safe - but that was never my style. Instead, I decided to start my own company. HALLER Experiences was born, a small shop on the big island of Ibiza that offers exclusive luxury yachts for rent and sale. A mixture of adrenaline, fun and sometimes a bit of madness.
Some of you may remember Oliver Pocher, who called me the "king of nonsense" on Instagram. (Thanks for the title, Olli!) I have to admit, such comments are sometimes an incentive. Despite or perhaps because of such voices, HALLER Experiences has developed faster than I ever expected. Today I am really proud of what it has become. And no, I am not sitting here on a throne made of sea boards and champagne bottles - just on my office stool with a view of the water.
Social Media: With my Jessica into the international yacht market
The fact that I'm not alone in this makes it even more beautiful. My wife Jessica supports me with all her might and she is a true master on Instagram (she has almost a million followers - and I admit I benefit a little from that!). Together we use our social media channels to make the company visible, but also to share the adventure with you. It's a crazy mix of business and family - and I think that's exactly what makes it so appealing.
Our goal is for HALLER Experiences to become known not only in Ibiza, but worldwide. But please don't misunderstand me: I'm not trying to be a tough guy. Instead, I want to show others that you can achieve a lot with courage, a bit of craziness and a good dose of persistence.
